A site-specific event.
To connect with multiple departments of the University of Massachusetts Amherst during their residency, the Tharp company organized an event called "Sowing of Seeds." The company and a group of students gathered on a field outside of the Agricultural Department, formed a long diagonal line and scattered seeds out of tin cans.
Other residency activities included Rose's Cross Country, an afternoon of children’s games and the premiere performances of The One Hundreds and The Fugue.
