Even The King

Description

When Movin’ Out opened on Broadway in 2002, much of Tharp’s existing dance company was absorbed into the cast. To satisfy prior tour dates and commitments, Tharp put together a new ensemble.

Even The King, a short, stately narrative ballet, was created for this group. The choreography blends the dancers’ wide-ranging techniques into a shared vocabulary.
